I Really Want It

Stray by Patrick Loftus
Doris is a very sensitive and caring young girl in general. She has a very big love for animals, especially a big love for dogs. She was willing to do anything for the stray dog she found in her driveway. She was very persistent because she would not take no for an answer. She wanted to be mature but she was too sensitive. So in conclusion, Doris is a very sharing and nice young girl.

I Really Want It by Darragh Reilly
It was one week to the Fifa World Cup in Brazil. One day I was walking by Lifestyle Sports in Castlebar and one bright yellow jersey was in the corner of my eye. It was the mighty Brazils jersey for the World Cup. The yellow was extremely bright and the crest was so clear. The pride and passion the Brazilians must feel walking out to the MaracanĂ£ wearing their country’s kit. We walked in to take a closer look. The price was unexceptionally high, it was 90 euro and there was no chance of me getting it unless I really worked for it. So for the one week there was left until the World Cup I had to do chores around the house, keep my room clean, sweep up leaves from the patio and clean out my lunchbox every day. The opening day of the tournament I had made 45 euro and that is only half of what I was aiming for. Well it would have been a miracle if I made 90 euro. To this day I still would really like it.

My sister’s old phone by Denis Vajenine
My sister has this awesome phone that she never, ever uses. Since she got a new phone,
the old phone has been sitting in her shelf totally unused for the past half year or so. It is an awesome Vodafone smart phone with lots of music, games, apps, Bluetooth and class features. Unlike her old phone my phone only has a stop-watch, Bluetooth, a three megapixel camera and a stupid internet that you can only read on, and know you what, you have to pay 1 cent per megabyte for it. I am willing to do absolutely anything to get her old phone. I’m always ready to ask her but when I actually go to ask her it flies out of my mind like a bird leaving its nest almost as if I’m shy. I would do all her jobs for two weeks, wwwwait she actually has barely any jobs, yes I’m not lying. My mum says that it’s fair that she gets only the easiest jobs in the house, so actually her only job is washing the dishes three times a week unlike me, again, I’m the one left with every single job in the house. Sure I know she has her leaving cert to learn all those figure and numbers but can she just get a little more job, please.

Sorry, I don’t want to get off the main subject, so about the phone oh yeah were way past that. Now i think I’ve got some inspiration, yeah i think I’m right i have no choice but to ask my sister for the phone, yeah i just hope it works out.

My Astro Turf Shoes Dylan Howley
There was a time when I really wanted a pair of astro turf  shoes but I had work really hard for them by doing chores and once I got them I couldn't wear them for more than a month and only for special occasions like Communions an Confirmations but my wait was finally over and I got to wear them as my every day shoes.

Annoyed So Much by Peter Basquille
One Spring evening when the sun was still lovely and warm high up in the sky. My brother and I went to a local football match, Castlebar Celtic and Manulla. I stumbled over the manager’s medical gear bag and there lying on the floor in front of my eyes were two tickets for the Liverpool and Manchester City to decide the Barclays Premier League. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

At first we were so excited that we were screaming so loud in excitement that you couldn’t hear me. First I dashed over to James to tell him the good news. We would’ve been sitting in the Kop end. But after all that excitement we realised that these tickets must belong to somebody and that they have to be in the Liverpool supporters club to have these tickets. So we asked around the clubhouse and put an add on the local Midwest Radio Station. No one replied. It's our lucky day I said to my brother James nobody has replied, THEY'RE ALL OURS.

It was 3 days until the match and I said to Dad you should book the flight . After a while Dad bursted into the living room to announce the bad news “GUESS WHAT I COULD NOT GET ANY FLIGHT SO WE CANNOT GO”. I cried for the rest of the day.

I’ve Got To Have Them by Ben McHale
All I wanted was a simple pair of hyper- venoms to play soccer in. I asked my mum but she said that they were too expensive and my boots that I have now are fine. The expensive part was right but the last part wasn’t. You see, my boots have holes in them their two sizes too small and they reek of smelliness. I mean if I came in to your house the first thing you’d say was ‘what is that smell?’ I figured that out when I went to my cousin’s house after training. Anyway back to begging for the boots, I showed her in my new football magazine the same boots but they were £20 less. She said that she would think about it and I said to myself quietly “yes”. Two more days passed and still no reply. I was getting kind of worried because she said nothing to me; well of course she talked to me but very little. In the evening she said to me “I thought about it and I will buy the boots”. I was so excited and I said “can we order them now? “She went online and typed up www.jdsports.co.uk . We were just about to buy them when I said ‘can I get my name on them?’ She said ‘I’ll have to think about it!!’ Here we go again!!

I Want  I Want  I Want by Michael Waldron
I looked up to the top aisle, drooling spit from my mouth. There in front of me was what I wanted and what I needed. The grip and the colours blew me away. How was I going to get it?  My Mum would never pay €20 for a football!  I needed to do something to make her proud of me, but what?  ‘Oh’, said Mum, ‘your cousin, David, might like that for his birthday on Saturday’.  I was just about to complain that he gets one and I don’t, when I saw a sign under it.  It read ‘2 for the price of 1’.  ‘Mum, look’, I said hopefully.  ‘Ooh’, she screeched, ‘your other cousin, Thomas, might like one as well’.  We walked out of the shop door to Mum’s Toyota, when I had a fantastic idea.  ‘Mum, I just remembered, David doesn’t like football’, I said cheekily.  ‘Well then I suppose you can have it’.  ‘Yyyyyeeeessss’, I cheered, jumping in the air.Cameron's laptop by Alistair Hill

Cameron's Laptop by Alistair Hill
In the corner of Cameron's lonely dark room was his laptop. I would be at Cameron's service for the rest of the year. All it was ever doing was collecting dust. Cameron was always at boarding school so I never got the chance to ask him until today. Today was the first day in a month that Cameron was coming home. We were walking through Breaffy forest on our way to the astro turf when I thought this could be my chance to ask Cameron if he could give me his computer when a branch snapped off the tree above us. I reacted as fast as light speed. I pushed Cameron out of the way and then I leaped out of the way. When we got home Cameron was so greatfull that he offered me his laptop .I was so happy that I thought I could run a marathon just as he was about to get the laptop I woke up and realized it was all a dream.

Anfield by Evan Lawless

It has always been a dream of mine to go to Anfield. I have saw and loved the two matches that I been to but they were in Wembley and Aviva. My dad promised me if I save enough money I can go to the last game of the season so hopefully I will achieve my milestone that me and my dad have set. So I better work hard in school and not make up excuses like I have no paper in my house and things like that I also have to do extra jobs around the house to earn some money. Excitingly enough my grand-uncle is coming to Ireland next week and he always gives me money( he is really nice ). So far I have fifty euro hopefully by next week I will have a lot more.
