Mysterious Animal

Mrs McTeague's Class were given the task to describe an animal they have seen for the first time and realise that they must have discovered a new species:

Mysterious Animal by Alastair Hill.

I looked over the hill of snow to confront a graceful animal wondering in the snow. It had small eyes, short hooves and a long tail. It looked like a young caribou (reindeer).I could tell it was lost like me. I walked over to rub it with my numb hand. I took out my huge, green species book to see what it was. I searched through the whole book but I could not find it. I decided to call it a ramule.

The Mysterious Animal by Dylan Howley.

I heard a step I turned around to see a monster with a big head and a small body. I quickly realised I had discovered a mysterious animal in a cave with frightening teeth, huge ears and gleaming red eyes. I turned around to my sleigh  to get my camera  but I heard a big snore and I just heard its tiny steps as he stood up I turned around to see him eating cold hard ice.I tried not to make the slightest sound but then thump a bag fell off my sleigh and the creature ran at wicked speed and jumped straight into the big ocean never to be seen again.

I turned around and saw a cute little fur-ball lying on the grass. It looked so adorable I could have hugged it. I tried picking it up when suddenly it flew around me like a racing car. It dived into a little pond beside me and swam around it in a blink of an eye. It got hungry and flew out to eat some grass. I knew it was a herbivore with no doubt. It was covered in a thick layer of fur and had a bushy tale. It could fly pretty quick judging on its fairy wings.  I named him Harry the Hairy Ball.
